Eugene M. Fleck, 54, of R.R. 1, died at 12:08 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 1990, at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon, after a tractor he was operating overturned. The accident occurred at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Born May 19, 1935, in Springfield Township, Huntingdon County, he was the son of L. Paul Fleck of Three Springs and the late Estella Lane Fleck.
Mr. Fleck was a member of Heritage Baptist Church of Three Springs, where he was a deacon and treasurer.
For 23 years, he was a sales technician for Atlantic Breeders, Lancaster.
He was married to Shirley Ann Long on April 18, 1959, at Saxton.
Surviving, in addition to his father and wife, are children, Mark A. and Sandra (Mrs. Corey) Brumbaugh, both of Three Springs, Sherri J. Banks of Miami, Fla. and Michael E. at home; brothers and sisters, V. Jack and Inez Ford both of Three Springs; Kathryn Parsons of Shippensburg; Garnetta Shope of Limrick; Gay Fleck of Three Springs; Linda Anderson of Shade Gap; Larry of Three Springs; and Karen Weiler of Mechanicsburg; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother.
Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Heritage Baptist Church. The Revs. David Larson and James Houtz will officiate. Burial will be in Old School Baptist Cemetery, near Three Springs.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heritage Baptist Church, R.R. 1, Three Springs, 17264.
